Rosemère

Rosemère is a Canadian city in Quebec located in the MRC of Thérèse-De Blainville, in the Laurentides region. About 30 km northwest of downtown Montreal, it runs along the north shore of the Mille Îles River for some 4.5 km. It has the status of a French-English bilingual municipality.

The town of Rosemère occupies an enviable position, particularly in terms of the development of its green spaces and the protection of its natural environment. Thus, over the last 25 years, the city has obtained around fifty prizes and distinctions in various competitions in Quebec and Canada for its initiatives in terms of horticultural beautification, landscaping and urban forestry. The city obtained, for 2015-2017, the recognition of five fleurons from the Corporation des fleurons du Québec, which constitutes the highest distinction of this national horticultural classification program.

In 2008, Rosemère celebrated its 50th anniversary.
